Moore State ParkMoore State Park includes a section which was once the site of several grist and saw mills on it's 400 acres. A restored saw mill sites alongside the cascading waterfalls, along with several old foundations. A small stone bridge crosses the cascades. Trails wind around the wooded hills, along the pond and fields. Thousands of azaleas, rhododendrons, and mountain laurel grow along the trails and fields. A bird sanctuary exists on the grounds near Eames pond, and a large-scale bat house is located near the pond close to the mill site.
